ETI Research Brio RCA Connectors

The ETI Research Brio RCA Connector is a Rhodium-plated development of the original ETI Bullet design, combining a low-mass signal path with premium conductive materials and a custom brass housing. Designed for high-performance audio applications, it retains ETI Research’s star grounding concept while introducing refinements intended to improve conductivity, durability and resistance to electrical interference.

The signal pin of the ETI Research Brio RCA is machined from 1100 Series OCC Copper with an IACS conductivity rating of 102%. Its hollow construction uses walls just 0.6 mm thick, allowing the cable conductor to be soldered at the very top of the signal pin. This reduces the amount of conductive mass through which the signal must travel compared with other star grounding designs.

The low-mass return pin o the ETI Research Brio RCA is manufactured from Tellurium Copper, providing both high conductivity and the mechanical strength required to withstand repeated connection and disconnection. Rhodium plating is used to provide a durable, tarnish-resistant surface, helping maintain reliable electrical and mechanical performance over extended use.

A brass outer housing provides vibration damping together with high EMI and RF noise rejection, helping protect the audio signal from interference generated by processors, switching power supplies and other electronic equipment. Twin strain relief screws reduce stress on the cable and terminated connection, while ETI Research’s star grounding design maintains the low-mass signal path central to the ETI Research Brio RCA Connector.
