ETI Research LINK Spade Connectors

The ETI Research LINK Spade Connector is designed for high-performance loudspeaker connections where conductivity, mechanical stability and straightforward installation are important. Combining Tellurium Copper conductive components with a matte black brass housing, it provides a durable connection suitable for use with loudspeakers, amplifiers and other demanding audio systems.

The conductive section of the ETI Research LINK Spade is manufactured from Tellurium Copper with an IACS conductivity rating of 93%. Gold plating is applied directly to the copper without an intermediate nickel layer, maintaining a direct conductive path while providing a durable contact surface. The matte black finish also complements the LINK RCA connector for a consistent appearance across an audio system.

The brass housing of the ETI Research LINK Spade provides shielding against electromagnetic interference, helping protect the audio signal from external noise. Colour-coded enamel rings clearly identify the left and right channels, simplifying installation and reducing the possibility of connection errors.

Cable retention is handled by a double strain relief system. Twin screws at the base of the spade secure the bare conductor without requiring soldering, while a second pair of screws within the aluminium housing grips the cable insulation to provide additional mechanical support. This arrangement helps reduce strain on the electrical connection while providing a secure and durable termination.
