Zavfino Gold Rush Tonearm Cable

The Zavfino Gold Rush Tonearm Cable is built around a combination of Gold OCC, pure silver signal conductors and a pure copper ground, with a strong focus on preserving low-level analogue information. Its construction uses Zavfino’s proprietary ZGRAPh-LDP graphene dielectric and shielding, which forms a highly complete barrier around the cable to reduce electromagnetic interference, static build-up and oxidation around the conductors.

The conductors are treated before insulation is applied using Zavfino’s Deep Cryo™ process, with the treatment temperature matched to the material and conductor structure. They also undergo the company’s UltraSonic 7 process, where the bare wire is ultrasonically cleaned to remove surface contamination before receiving a controlled high-voltage and thermal treatment. Zavfino states that this latter stage provides a pre-break-in effect comparable to many hours of normal signal use.

Construction also incorporates Zavfino’s H-Wound™ technique, which tightly winds stranded wire around a central conductor at a very high pitch rate of approximately 14,000 to 16,000 twists per metre. This is combined with Zero Strand Loss™ manufacturing, intended to prevent individual strands from being damaged during stripping and termination so that each conductor remains closely matched.

The graphene shielding adds further protection by providing continuous coverage around the conventional shield and drain, while also offering electrostatic discharge control, improved heat resistance and an anti-corrosive barrier against oxygen ingress. The Gold Rush is available with straight DIN, right-angle DIN or RCA termination.
