ETI Research BP-50C Binding Post

The ETI Research BP-50C Binding Post is designed for high-performance loudspeaker and amplifier applications where conductivity, signal integrity and effective noise rejection are priorities. Manufactured around a 1100 Series OCC Copper post, it combines premium conductive materials with a carefully considered mechanical design intended to minimise unnecessary conductive material within the signal path.

The central post is manufactured from 1100 Series OCC Copper with an IACS conductivity rating of 102%. Gold is applied directly to the copper without an intermediate nickel layer, avoiding the lower conductivity associated with nickel while providing a durable contact surface. This construction maintains a highly conductive path through the binding post for efficient audio signal transfer.

The housing combines aluminium with a polymer compound to provide electromagnetic and radio-frequency noise rejection. The polymer section threads directly onto the post, helping prevent unnecessary conductive materials from entering the electrical pathway. A high-density, non-conductive polymer nut further limits contact with the pure copper post to the components required for the electrical connection.

The ETI Research BP-50C provides flexibility during installation, allowing cable conductors to be secured using either screw or solder termination. Its 50 mm length makes it suitable for chassis mounting and loudspeaker back-panel applications where a longer binding post is required. Combining OCC Copper, direct gold plating and extensive use of non-conductive materials, the ETI Research BP-50C provides a practical high-performance connection for demanding audio systems.
