ETI Research BP-20C Binding Post

The ETI Research BP-20C Binding Post is designed for high-performance loudspeaker and amplifier applications where conductivity, signal integrity and reliable mechanical construction are important. Built around a 1100 Series OCC Copper post, it combines premium conductive materials with a carefully considered housing and termination system.

The central post is manufactured from 1100 Series OCC Copper with an IACS conductivity rating of 102%. Gold is applied directly to the copper without an intermediate nickel layer, helping maintain a highly conductive signal path while providing a durable contact surface. By eliminating nickel from the plating structure, the ETI Research BP-20C keeps lower-conductivity materials out of the primary electrical path.

The housing combines aluminium with a polymer compound to provide electromagnetic and radio-frequency noise rejection. The polymer section threads directly onto the post, helping prevent unnecessary conductive materials from contacting the electrical pathway. A high-density, non-conductive polymer nut further limits contact with the copper post to the components required for the connection.

The ETI Research BP-20C supports both screw and solder cable termination, providing flexibility for different installation methods. Its 20 mm post length makes it suitable for chassis mounting and loudspeaker back-panel applications where a more compact binding post is required. Combining OCC Copper, direct gold plating and non-conductive mechanical components, the ETI Research BP-20C provides a practical high-performance connection for demanding audio systems.
