Zavfino Arcadia MKII Interconnect Cable

The Zavfino Arcadia MKII is a PCOCC single-crystal copper interconnect designed for high-performance analogue audio systems. Available with either RCA or XLR termination, it shares its overall construction approach with the Zavfino Fusion pure-silver interconnect while using fine-strand, tight-pitch PCOCC copper conductors to deliver the distinctive characteristics associated with high-quality copper cable construction.

Each conductor core consists of a twisted pair of fine-strand PCOCC copper insulated with an FEP/Teflon dielectric and an additional PTFE wrap. An aluminium mylar layer provides the first stage of shielding, followed by a 24-carrier tight-pitch braid for additional protection against external interference. The cable is completed with a RoHS-certified PVC outer jacket and an anti-static PET monofilament sleeve.

RCA versions terminate in 1877 ZXP-9 connectors featuring OCC copper low-resistance contacts and aluminium ground housings. The combination of single-crystal copper conductors, carefully selected dielectric materials and multi-layer shielding is designed to provide a low-noise connection for demanding analogue systems while maintaining the cable’s mechanical durability.

As part of Zavfino’s manufacturing process, the PCOCC copper undergoes ultrasonic cleaning to remove oil, dirt and surface impurities from the raw conductor material. Zavfino also states that this process pre-conditions the copper, reducing the extended break-in period normally associated with a new cable. The Arcadia MKII is supplied in a standard 1.5 m length with RCA or XLR connector options.
