Zavfino Silver Dart Speaker Cable

The Zavfino Silver Dart Speaker Cable represents three years of development, combining Zavfino’s H-Wound™ stranding system with large-gauge OCC conductors and its graphene-doped conductive dielectric. Each core is designed around Zavfino’s Zero Strand Loss™ process, with the final horizontal silver OCC layer maintaining conductor pitch while helping protect individual strands during assembly.

The OCC conductors undergo Deep Cryo™ treatment before insulation is applied, followed by Zavfino’s UltraSonic 7™ cleaning and high-voltage treatment. The ultrasonic process removes oils, drawing residue and surface contaminants, while the subsequent voltage treatment is intended to accelerate the normal break-in process associated with extended cable use.

H-Wound™ construction uses an extremely tight conductor pitch of approximately 14,000 to 16,000 twists per metre. Zavfino states that this approach helps control skin-effect behaviour while Zero Strand Loss™ ensures each conductor core remains consistent, without chipped, cut or damaged strands during stripping and termination. The Silver Dart also uses a spaced-layer, cable-within-a-cable construction that brings the overall diameter to approximately 23 mm.

Zavfino’s ZGRAPh-LDP™ graphene conductive dielectric is designed to provide complete coverage around the conventional shield and drain. According to Zavfino, the graphene layer improves EMI protection, reduces electrostatic and triboelectric effects, reinforces the dielectric and forms an anti-corrosive barrier against oxygen ingress, helping maintain consistent electrical performance over time.
