Zavfino Silver Dart Interconnect Cables

The Zavfino Silver Dart is the result of three years of development, combining Zavfino’s H-Wound™ construction with its graphene-doped conductive dielectric. Each conductor is wound around a central core at extremely high pitch rates, with a final OCC silver layer helping maintain conductor geometry while supporting Zavfino’s Zero Strand Loss™ process. This ensures each core remains consistent and free from damaged strands before final hand assembly.

Every conductor also undergoes Zavfino’s UltraSonic 7™ high-voltage and thermal treatment. Bare wire is first passed through an ultrasonic cleaning process designed to remove surface contamination, before the finished conductor bundles are subjected to controlled high-voltage treatment. Zavfino states that this process produces an effect similar to approximately 30 to 40 hours of normal cable run-in.

Before insulation is applied, the conductors receive Zavfino’s Deep Cryo™ treatment. The cryogenic temperature is selected according to the conductor’s purity, size and molecular structure, generally within the -186°C to -196°C range. Zavfino applies the treatment only to the conductor itself, avoiding materials such as PVC, Teflon, PE and silicone that may become brittle or degrade when exposed to extreme cold.

Silver Dart cables also employ Zavfino’s proprietary ZGRAPh-LDP™ graphene conductive shielding and dielectric. Developed to provide complete coverage around the conventional shield and drain, the graphene layer is designed to improve EMI protection, reduce electrostatic and triboelectric effects, reinforce the dielectric and create an anti-corrosive barrier against oxygen ingress. Combined with matched OCC copper and silver conductors, these technologies form the basis of Zavfino’s Silver Dart cable construction.
